My name is Cristal Martinez. I am a young artist from Fallbrook and I am excited to be at the Backfence and to use the space for studio time to create new works.
I will be showcasing some of the artwork that I have made over the years. As an artist my goal is to put myself out there in the world, to leave my mark and hopefully inspire those around me to get creative.
I make art mainly as a hobby, but I have been wanting to also explore art as a career. Thank you to The Backfence Society for giving me the opportunity to occupy your space and allowing me to grow.

My work consists of watercolor, ink, and acrylic paint. The art I will be displaying / creating will be very colorful and surreal while also using darker themes and imagery. My work is influenced by street art and traditional art while also using my own style.
