Artist Carol Chambers Jefferies is our Artist Occupancy Program Participant for the month of May at the Backfence Society
Please join the artist for reception, Saturday, May 7, 5-8pm, to experience her a collection of her works entitled Life By a Thousand Cuts.
This show explores Jefferies’ ideas about the role of mother is that of love, nurturing, innumerable roles and jobs, and many, many sorrows, small and large. Under this avalanche of responsibility, is she still alive and breathing?
A core sample of the detritus she is buried beneath. Mixed media, fiber arts, kids’ crafting materials.
