On July 5th, 2019 a magnitude 7.1 earthquake struck Ridgecrest, CA, causing millions in damage. An estimated 30 million people felt the quake, from Sacramento all the way south to parts of Baja California. After the main shock, there has been a swarm of smaller earthquakes hitting the surrounding area, with no end in sight.
Is California going to drop into the sea? Will Arizona finally have beach front property? Join us as we welcome Geology Professor Sean Figg from Palomar College to learn the facts and fiction surround earthquakes and the fate of California!
