In the past half-century, we've sent spacecraft across the solar system near all of the planets, sending back vast amounts of data and high resolution photos. These efforts have revolutionized our understanding of the how the solar system was formed, what it's made of, and which of these worlds might be suitable for life. Join us for a guided tour of our solar system with Astrophysicist Dr. Lisa Will, the resident astronomer from the Fleet Science Center, and experience the science and beauty of our neighborhood!
Our Friday Night Science Talks are 100% free and all ages, so bring the kids! After the talk, weather permitting, we'll break out our 14" telescope from OPT Telescopes and peer into the cosmos! Cheers!
